Hand engraving involves individual letters being hammered onto a hollow piece of metal. My items are not machine engraved. All characters will be stamped to the same depth but may not be perfectly straight. This is not a defect and adds to the uniqueness of my jewelry. Stamped characters may sometimes appear on the back of the metal; this is simply due to metal shifting; because of this, items can only be engraved on one side.
