This lovely dog identity tag is made from aluminium and I have riveted a brass heart to the centre. I can then hand stamp your dogs name and telephone number and create a unique dog tag just for you!.

The tag measures 35 mm x 30mm. I will include a clip the clip with your tag, but you may not need to use this, depending on the collar /harness that your dog wears.

Aluminium is very light weight, strong and resistant to tarnish. It has the look of Sterling silver, yet is a more affordable option. The brass heart may develop a patina over time, this can be rubbed with something acidic (such as ketchup) to restore the shine.

Hand stamping involves individual letters being hammered onto a blank item of metal. My items have not been machine engraved, not all characters will be stamped at the same depth and may not be perfectly straight and even. This is not a flaw and adds to the unique character of my jewellery. The stamped characters can sometimes appear on the back of the metal and is simply due to the metal displacing, because of this items can only be stamped on one side.
